Hello, this is Christine McIvor from Winnipeg!
Well….I’m not actually from Winnipeg but most people have never heard of Stonewall which is about 30 minutes north of Winnipeg. I moved back to Winnipeg from Calgary after living there for the past 10 years. I missed my family and I was missing watching my two adorable nephews grow up.
Aren’t they cute? Meet Max & Jake.
I am definitely a small-town girl with a huge desire to travel the world. I have always had a passion for travel. When I was little I can remember spinning my globe round and round and stopping it with my finger pretending that was where I was going to travel to next. I would do this for hours and now I get to do this with my nephews.
In February 2007, I finally felt strong enough to quit my job with so many benefits to move back to Manitoba to be with family once again. Unfortunately my recovery went backwards which left me in a huge bind. I left my job and now still too injured to get a new one. What was I going to do?
I needed to work on my own hours so I started looking to invest in a business. I did hours of research throughout the month and discovered how much it was to start a home business. Then I started thinking about the hours involved on my feet which I could not handle at the time. Website after website, the search
continued…
My drive, determination, and passion lead me back to Network Marketing.
You see, I tried Network Marketing many times in the past starting when I was 19 & 26. The only problem was that I didn’t know what I was doing and I didn’t have the mentor to help me succeed.
I knew that Network Marketing was my only option but a GREAT option to help me fulfill my dreams. It is the only business that will allow you to earn more than your doctor or lawyer, and even the CEO of your insurance company! And this time, I had the experience and the drive to succeed!
This is going to be a BIG year for me. I have many goals that I started writing down when I was 15 that revolve around 2009. Why 2009? Because I turn 40!!!! I am probably one of few women born in 1969 who are actually looking forward to their 40th birthday. You see, I have felt so old since the bus hit me, I mean little old ladies would cruise by me with their walkers in Safeway. It was ridiculous! As you can see by the picture above, I am no longer in constant 10/10 pain. Thanks to 4 years of Chiro, Body Talk, Physio,
Acupuncture, Back Vitalizer, Reiki, Xango, Myofascial Release, and my newest thing “hemp seeds”, for energy. I still have to go 2/4 times per week depending on how much I play with my nephews but thankful because I am no longer in constant pain.
So, back to why I am so excited about 2009….
1) Feeling younger each day even though I am turning 40!
2) Getting Married in Hawaii! I always said that I was going to get married when I was 40. (I better stop working so much so that I can get out there and find a husband)
3) I am supposed to Retire when I turn 40. Well, I quit the corporate rat race almost 2 years ago and now I work online from home. Does it mean that I am retired if I work whenever I want and I love what I do? I think I already reached this goal almost 2 years early?? If you don’t agree, I will have to modify the “retired” part because I am having too much fun talking with people worldwide.
4) Travel monthly. I have always worked hard in every job I have ever had because I always love what I do. The problem is that I don’t take time to smell the roses and all of a sudden another year goes by. I am committed to work less and travel more in the year 2009.
5) Taking the Law of Attraction to another level. I am now a personal walking ambassador to the book called “The Go-Giver”. I recommend that everyone reads this book and shares this inspiring story with everyone they love and respect. We need a lot more Go-Givers in this world!
Those are my plans for 2009. I hope that you have taken the time to think about what you want so that you know what to focus on. Take time to reflect on what you have today to be thankful for. Let’s make 2009 the best year ever!
Live Laugh and Travel!

Hi Christine,
Can’t believe we live in the same town, yet connected via the WWW.
I like this site and always wanted to know what program allows a person to create the signature the way you signed your name at the bottom of your page here?
Be Well.
Stephen

Hi Steven,
I know what a small world. I thought you were joking and already knew that I lived in your home town.
I didn’t use a program to create my signature. I just wrote my sig on a piece of white paper and then scanned it onto my computer and saved it as a .jpg Hope that helps.
We will have to meet in person some day soon!
Christine
