Ping.fm is a great utility. I started using that application before I figured out how powerful FriendFeed really was. Thanks for your comments. I really appreciate them : )

Instead of making FriendFeed worth taking a look, Facebook’s purchase may have killed it. FriendFeed’s traffic has dropped like a rock since it was purchased by Facebook.

Thank you for your feedback. As I stated, FriendFeed is one of the coolest apps online that barely anybody is using. We are all networkers that should be encouraging others to use this great product so that it remains. If you don’t think FriendFeed is worth taking a look, what other program do you recommend that automates your content like FriendFeed? I look forward to your response : )

Hi Christine,
Thanks so much. I do have a Friend Feed account and I also use Ping FM for cross platform posting. My blog feeds automatically post to Facebook (my Fan Page –which is still underutilized & my personal page). They are also streamed to Twitter. For a while Friend Feed was also pushing posts into the social media streams and I was posting double posts (yes, I know just enough to be dangerous).
I try to be careful when posting to various platforms because what works in one social media platform may not work in another and the point is to connect and share not confuse. For example: The Twitter streams that post to Facebook can be confusing to Facebook users because of the Twitter handles, hashtag useage and more.
Do you have a suggestion to simplify the feeds, avoid duplicate posting and advise for those who post cross platform so they are building relationships and not confusing other users?
Write on!~
Lisa

Great point Lisa! FriendFeed should be about getting your content syndicated to your targeted followers and not to Everybody. (The content must be quality content and not just a sales pitch every time.)
If you are a heavy Twitter user, I would only recommend adding your Facebook Fan Page to FriendFeed and not your regular FB account. The majority of people on your Fan Page will already be familiar with Twitter and the hash tags.

Christine,
This is a perfect write up. I was speaking to two people
recently who did not know anything about this and I probably did not do too well explaining the subject. Now I will send them here for the real scoop! Mitch
